That in times of distress he would comfort me.
He would make me feel safe.
Safe from the people around me.
Safe from their comments and opinions.
Safe from doubt and discouragement.
He would make me feel secure.
Secure in my own personality.
Secure in my beliefs.
Secure in my relationships.
He would make me feel capable.
Capable of being there for those i love.
Capable of withstanding even the worst things.
Capable of being a tool in his hands, of doing good in the world.
I was told once that my Heavenly Father would be there for me.
He would walk through life with me, by my side.
I believe this with all my being.
And i love it.
