Genesis

As i sit here trying to figure the best FIRST post I realize that there is only one thing I can possibly say to start off this escapade of stories from my life. And that is to tell you about my life at this point in time.

I am currently in college. Snow College to be specific. And in case you don't already know, Snow College is based in the center of a town called Ephraim. Due to the random winded scents of live, holiday birds, I first assumed "Ephraim" meant Turkey in some language unknown to my brain. But maybe it means Sheep since they have now traveled in large flocks down the main street here. Either way Ephraim, Utah is a total Turkey town run by Sheep.

I live in the dorms, I newly have no transportation, and I have the BEST roommates I could ever ask for.

This is the girl who sleeps about two feet from me every night. Our first night was the most awkward its ever been. We were both laying down and our bed were out and she turned to me and said what we were both thinking. " I can reach out and touch you right now." uhh... yeah. Also since she watched me sleep that night after i told her not to, she informed me in the morning that I snored. ha ha.She is an AMAZING singer and really fun to bunk with. Bunk with? really? okay whatever. She is really good about putting up with my insomniac tendencies. So our nights are filled with Secret Music Mashes, Veronica Mars dance parties, episodes of random amazing t.v. shows, tons of youtube videos (Stay on your side!!!) and WAY too much laughter. If thats even possible. And she's always asking if I am okay after I sleep for most of the day or if i'm actually awake. I love this girl.
All I have to say is...
Stand and Pace V, Stand. And. Pace.


.: Lalaina Strate :. I love her. I have to start with love or my intentions could be misconstrued. She is the constant object of laughter in our apartment. She is always doing something to conceive wonder within our minds. Our way of handling it is to laugh and nod in agreement. (most times that is) She is definitely an essential part of our apartment.
LaLa, I know you hate me. But its okay. I'll probably still talk to you everyday.

I hope Duncan talks to you soon. He is your future husband after all.



.: Emily Young :.
She is the president of our relief society. She quilts which is amazing. She is a DJ on the local radio station. She plays my requests without knowing its me. She is a great sport for the videos i'm always needing "help" with. She is currently crippled due to an unfortunate aerobics incident. But we're told she will recover in a month. Until then she will walk a little slower than she used to. :( She's great at Laser Tag, and if it wasn't for her car, we would not have made it to the concert of the year. Emily is always doing things for others and I admire that. She is doing a great job and i'm sure she's growing tons from her calling. One time she brought me ice cream cause I was having a bad day. That right there is cool. Em, You rock socks.

.: Kaitlyn Waters :.
You know that person in your life that somehow always understands what you're talking about? You know, they share and apply the same humor and inside jokes filled with sarcasm that you do? They teach you how to spell sarcasm and initiate pizza box sledding after Dead Cats? They help you turn your kitchen into a galaxy and proceed to lay in it until five in the morning, just talking with you, about everything and nothing at the same time? Talking to them about the latest disaster in life is totally natural because you know they understand. And tag alongs are the best when you're with them. Yeah, thats Kaitlyn. (Although at times she seems to be Ke$ha, don't be fooled.) We've been P.I.C from the beginning. And I love it.

 I know I have some pretty awesome friends. And those are just the ones who are living with me. My best friend is amazing too. Her name is Chante and she is the best, best friend I could ever ask for.

She makes everyday brighter and I love her for it.

No one knows just how much I appreciate her in my life. 

Also. She has an adorable son named Liam and he is the cutest baby you could ever see.

Unfortunately she lives far away in a land called Tennessee. I sucks that she's so far away. But we talk almost everyday so that makes up for it. 

So essentially we've learned that my life is full of inside jokes, music of every genre, pranks, quotes & lyrics, memory preserving; both in photo's (Probably taken by the amazing Kaitlyn since I have the video side of the deal and lets just face it, She rocks it.) and in video's, full of random and possibly awkward antics thought out by my insanity, and grudgingly my life is also full of homework.
Pretty much my life is ideal for me. It has all the good components of fun time and an okay percentage of school work. I am truly thankful for my life.
